We also encourage you to do your own research, and try to decide what "type" of driver you would like to be. By "type", we mean Over-The-Road (very long distances), Regional, or Local. Each company is also different - from their mission statement and future goals to the type of freight they transport. Perhaps you would like to haul heavy machinery or transport frozen foods from one coast to the other. It is very important that you find a company that fits your long term goals. If you do not have a plan for your truck driving future, start one now.
